Cancellation Policy

Paid online consultations, scheduled appointments, and ongoing legal matters.

1. Paid online consultations

If you have booked a paid consultation through our website, you may request to reschedule or cancel by emailing info@collinsquarters.com from the address used for your booking and including your booking reference.

  • Reschedule: where reasonably practicable, we will offer alternative times subject to lawyer availability.
  • Timely cancellation: if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you may be eligible for a refund or credit in line with our Refund Policy.
  • Late cancellation or no-show: if you cancel within 24 hours of the start time, do not attend, or join more than 10 minutes late without notice, we may treat the consultation as delivered and fees may be non-refundable.

Third-party scheduling tools (for example, Calendly) may display their own reschedule/cancel links; those actions are helpful but you should still email us if you require confirmation of cancellation or a refund assessment.

2. Free pathway / introductory calls

Where we offer a complimentary scoping or pathway call, please provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel so we can offer the time to other clients. Repeated late cancellations may affect priority booking.

3. Ongoing legal engagements

Termination or suspension of a formal retainer is governed by your engagement letter or costs agreement, the applicable uniform law or professional rules, and any court or tribunal directions.

You may end your instructions in writing subject to our right to retain files, claim fees for work properly performed, and comply with ethical duties (including where conflict or court obligations require us to cease acting).
